May 14, 1998 Dear John and Bud: Thank you for your nice letter. Here's a photo of me playing at a local VFW Club here in Florida. I have been having a ball playing my Carter. I really love it and it sounds great. I think the Carter Steel Guitar is the greatest steel on the market. It has helped my steel playing 10-fold. I love its fast action, wonderful tone, and easy-to-see fret markers. It's beautiful! I wish I could have spent more time visiting with you at your shop. I appreciate the friendliness of all of you at the factory.
