December 29, 1993 Dear Carter Family, I'd like to thank you for your holiday card and wish you all the best for the New Year. I was very glad to receive my Carter Steel Guitar from you. Everything works perfectly. Only my playing could be better! The Carter is handy, light, and it has a super sound. I'm really proud to be probably the first Carter Steel Guitar owner in Europe. As I'm Hungarian, it's a little bit strange that I play a Steel Guitar. But I've been playing Country Music for about 15 years. I also play dobro, banjo and percussion. Hungary -- especially Szeged, the town I come from -- has a good tradition in American Country Music. Here in Germany, where I've been living since 1986, Country Music is even more popular. I am in a new band called the "Silvie Ray Band" -- we play in Germany, Austria, Holland, and Switzerland. I would be glad if we could keep in touch.
