July 27, 2000 Hello Bud and John: Just a follow-up on my purchase of my Carter D-10 with BCT in Rosewood glossy mica on June 26, 2000. I had a tinge of remorse as I drove away from my old Sho-Bud after an 18-year relationship ... kind of like I was being disloyal or something, but it soon passed. Although I was dreading having to do a show before I had time to get acquainted with my new Carter, everything actually worked out okay. I had the pedals and knee levers adjusted to my satisfaction before the second set and, just as you said, it was already becoming friendly. The change-over from my Sho-Bud was relatively painless! My Carter is a GREAT steel, both functionally and aesthetically. I should have bought it 2 years ago when I first played a Carter and was impressed by it. Unfortunately, I decided at the time that I was not quite ready to give up the old Sho-Bud. I appreciate your courtesy and fast turnaround on the setup change on the floor model Carter I purchased.
