Let's talk about the Carter.

It is a superb guitar and I am really excited about it.

The first time I sat down with it, I was amazed how "good" it felt.

Other than the different knee lever setup I ordered, I have had no awkward feeling that one would normally expect from a new guitar!

When I first received it, I played the Carter on a live show after having had only a few hours with it. And it felt great during the show.

The tone and sustain are awesome.

And I can finally, consistently get the sound that I want.

Also, I like to practice at home just wearing socks or slippers and the pedal action is smooth and easy, which makes this possible.

Some of the pedal steels on the market that I have tried required at least a lumberjack boot to push the pedals, which I feel really makes a pedal steel very unattractive.

Another great feature is the size and weight of the Carter.

It is about ½ the weight of my MSA Classic and considerably more compact.

When I received the new Carter it was in perfect tune after travelling several days and approximately 2,000 miles in a truck, which was very impressive.

I'll keep you posted and send you some closeups.

My color combination looks really "sharp" and I often get comments about it.

Sincerely,

Clint Lybeck
