Dear John, Ann, and Bud,
I bought my Brown Birdseye glossy mica Carter D-10 (with BCT) in June 2004, as you know.
When other steelers come up and ask, I tell them I like it very much. Several have been awestruck when they sat down and tried it.
One guy told me he's going to sell 2 Emmons and buy a new Carter really soon!
I plan to buy another Carter, probably a lacquer (natural) finish D-10.
Having played a D-12 previously, an MSA D-12, it took a little while to get used to the Carter. I am glad I did!
The new Carter (with BCT) is the best steel I've played in a LONG time.
