April 23, 1997 Dear Bud and John: Over the years, I have used many top brands of pedal steels. Never have I found a pedal steel which stayed in tune until now ... that steel is the Carter. The Carter has superb playability. The looks and finish are excellent. The sound is absolutely clean, with good highs and lows. The sound is so close to the '66 Push-Pull Emmons sound, it is unreal! Everyone at Carter Steel Guitars has all been very helpful whenever I have a question. This is something that I've never received from other manufacturers.
