11 October 2000 Dear John, Bud, and Ann, When I first contacted Carter Steel Guitars, I felt I was in for a real good surprise. But oh my. My best expectations were exceeded. Right from initial contact through placing my order and eventually taking delivery, the service I received was without question exceptional. Then, my delight to setup (easily) and tune and sit down with immediate comfort was something I did not believe would happen so easily. As me being a complete rookie, I expected some hard times in front of me. Instead, I found that I was best placed to take full advantage of an instrument that stayed in tune, sounds real good and plays like I want it and lets me know when I make a mistake just as it should. What more could I ask for? Nothing. I have the Pedal Steel Guitar that I can add more to easily as and when I want. A one off purchase that will see me through many years of playing and entertaining.
