October 29, 2001 Dear Ann, John, and Bud: I have been a very satisfied Carter owner for several years, having owned my Carter D-10 since 1997 and having just purchased my second Carter, an S-10 with Body-Contact™ Technology (BCT) earlier this month. I played several brands of steels prior to my Carter. Both my Carters feel great and sound wonderful!! I love the light weight of my Carters, also. Why would I want anything else besides a Carter? a note about me: Most of my experience has been with local bands in several US states, as my day job required travel. I was honored by the opportunity to play on the Grand Ole Opry in 1972 and 1973 with Stonewall Jackson 12 times. Presently, I am doing show work with Darnell Miller, who is a member of the "Wheeling, West Virginia JAMBOREE". Anyone who would like is welcome to come on out to my gigs and hear the Carter or try it for themselves is there is time! Thanks for a great steel!
