March 9, 2000 Dear John, Bud and Ann, I have had my Carter S-10 for about 9 months now and I wanted to write to you and let you know that it has exceeded all of my expectations. I know that it has helped to improve my playing because of it's smooth dependable action. Its ability to stay in tune, tone and sustain are fantastic. I am impressed with the high quality, fine workmanship and beautiful appearance, and great sound. The Carter has resolved all of the complaints that I had about my old Sho-Bud. You built mine with a George L's 10-1 pickup. I really like the sound, especially the note separation and sustain when played above the 12th fret. My old guitar just died in the upper registers. The easy tuning is greatly appreciated! My teacher, Doug Beaumier, played my Carter once and seemed to really like it. He plays an Emmons D-10 Push-Pull and from a tone standpoint I think that the Carter sounds very much like the Emmons when we play side by side. The guitar is only half of the story. I wanted you to know that the assistance that all of you provided before and after the sale was sincerely appreciated. You all made me feel very comfortable through the ordering process. I appreciate all of the assistance that you provided. There are a lot of businesses around that could take a lesson from you on how to provide customer service and satisfaction.
