Dear John:
I bought my Carter S-10DB in Green Birdseye glossy mica and (with BCT) through Al Brisco in June of 2004.
My experience with the Carter is I find it to be the best I have ever played! The mechanism is superb, the quality of sound is exceptional, and the weight and construction are certainly "top of the line" in my opinion.
Over the years, I have owned several steels, including Fender, Framus, Zane Beck, and MSA, and I have tried out many other brands; and I can only say the Carter "The BEST of them ALL".
Keep building those terrific guitars. Happy Holidays. I "steel" anytime I can and hope you do likewise.
