October 23, 1995 Dear Bud & John: I want to let you know how much I am enjoying playing my S-12 Carter Steel. It has all the response and tone that any steel player could want. I continue to get remarks on how clear each note is from top to bottom and they continue to ask how I get the beautiful tone from this instrument. I just tell them that it's a CARTER, ask Bud or John! The S-12 gives me all the versatility that I need and the light weight of 31 lbs. makes it easier for transporting.
