September 1 2005 Dear John: Last Winter, after a 50-year hiatus from playing and a visit to Al Brisco, I came away with a Carter S-12 on D-10 Body with Pad in red glossy mica with Body-Contact Technology (BCT) on order. It arrived within a month and is an unbelievable pedal steel guitar, in looks and ease of playing.
