May 17 2004 Dear John, Ann, and Bud, I have had my Carter D-10 with BCT (Body-ContactTM Technology) since January of this year. I am VERY satisfied with my Carter steel. The tone and playability are second to none, and tuning stability is superb. I really like the tone of the Wallace TT pickups. The Carter really inspires me to play. I know when I sit down to it that I am free to play any pedal/knee combination without cringing and wondering if it's really going to be in tune. Now I can play free and unfettered and concentrate on the music rather than the tool I use to get the music from. The Carter definitely does it for me! It is a high-quality instrument that does exactly what it is supposed to do -- stays in tune, is mechanically dependable, sounds great and looks great.
