January 7 2005 I received my D-10 Carter Steel Guitar with BCT about 2 years ago, in January of 2003. When I first opened the package of this thing that I had purchased sight unseen, I first thought that this thing sure looks neat under here, but I wonder how it will look when I turn it over. So I hooked up the pedal rods and turned it over and found that this thing sure does look great. In fact it is quite beautiful for a guitar -- and I said to myself that this thing can't be a good as it appears to be. So, here is what I found: After changing 2 pedals to suit my taste and after 1 Mullen guitar, 3 Sho-Bud guitars, 5 Emmons guitars, the Carter Steel Guitar that I purchased sight unseen is a beautiful guitar and it plays better, works better, sounds better, easier to change setup, and is easer to play than any, and I stress ANY, guitar that I have ever bought or sat behind. This is the 9th steel guitar that I have had and if by some slim chance that I may need 9 more, I can assure you that they will be ALL made by Carter. Actually, if I buy another steel guitar, it will surely be a Carter for it is the best all-around steel that I have had. I thank you for building a great guitar.
