May 13, 2001 Dear Folks at Carter Steel Guitars: I have had my Carter D-10 with BCT (Body-ContactTM Technology) for about 4 months now and I enjoy it more every day. The experience of purchasing my Carter was also pleasant from the beginning. I appreciated the service that came along with the prompt booking of my order. Then, I actually received notification that my Carter had been shipped -- in less than 30 days. I was actually going to receive my instrument within the advertised shipment time. I had a whole D-10 steel guitar built to my order in less time than it takes to order string sets from some vendors. My Carter arrived in perfect condition on the exact day I was told it would be delivered. The fit and finish of the Carter is excellent. The undercarriage shows that a lot of thought went into the design. Even the routing of the pickup wiring is neat and symmetrical. The pedal/lever action is smooth and the guitar stays in tune very well. The Carter Owner's Manual and video enclosed were helpful and informative.
