June 22, 2002 Dear John and Bud: As you know, on January 9, 2002, I purchased my brand new Red Birdseye mica CARTER D-10 with Body-Contact™ Technology (BCT). This pedal steel guitar is trouble-FREE. I am very satisfied to play my CARTER Steel Guitar. Both the sound and style of my Carter are Clean and Beautiful. I play every Saturday night at Kenny's Country Music Station in Kyoto, JAPAN. At this gig, I have played with Ray Price, Charlie McCoy, Weldon Myrick, Hal Rugg, Russ Hicks, Hank Thompson, Connie Smith, Jeannie Seely, Vasser Clements, etc. I will be playing with MANY Nashville musicians on my CARTER. I went to Nashville Tennessee in May 2002 and saw the Carter being played on the Saturday Night "Grand Ole Opry" by Tommy White. Thank you very much.
