January 22, 2000 Hi Bud, John and Ann, The sustain of my D-10 after my BCT UpGrade is remarkable. The 3rd string on E-9th is now bigger than life. My old Emmons Push-Pull had wonderful tone and sustain, especially the 3rd string which stood out bright and crisp. I loved my Carter, however, and the third string was 'OK' considering the overall quality of the Carter in every other way. My Carter's 3rd string did not ever sound like the 3rd string on my Emmons Push-Pull, until NOW! Wow! I do not know what all you did to it, but since the BCT UpGrade, the entire range from highs to lows is bright, clear and crisp across the entire guitar.
