January 21 2005 Dear John: I purchased my glossy Black mica Carter (with BCT) from Al Brisco about 8 months ago. A few of the things that attracted me to the Carter were the look and low profile, compact design. I also like the feel of the Carter and how comfortable I feel sitting at this guitar. I have done a side-by-side comparison of my Carter with my friend's MSA and I cannot get over the difference in the tone of the two guitars. Even unplugged there was a big difference: the MSA was absolutely dead (although very well built) and the Carter would just ring. I am extremely happy with my Carter and have no complaints about it.
