May 16, 2003 Hi John, Ann, and Bud, When I received my Carter D-10 (with BCT technology), I emailed you to tell you how delighted I was with it. Well, the honeymoon period is over. I have now had the guitar for five months and I am still delighted with it. I was playing it last week at Glasgow's "Grand Ole Opry" and one of the local singers got up to sing a song. During the break, he commented on how beautiful a tone the Carter had. He has never said that about my Emmons guitars! Indeed, he asked me to play on a couple of tracks on a new album he's thinking of recording. See, the Carter is paying for itself already! I love this guitar. I love the tone and the pedal action on it. The Carter is a very comfortable guitar to play. It's lightness in weight has only been positive and has not had any detrimental effects on its tone, playability, action, or performance.
