June 3, 2003 Ann, Bud and John, I was very excited to order and then receive my Carter D-10 (with BCT technology) in September 2002. Before I started to setup the Carter, I viewed the video. I was really surprised at how thorough the video was. My biggest concern was not setting the guitar up as I had been setting pedal guitars up since 1950. It was if I could handle all of the extra knee levers and the narrower pedals (more narrow at least than the vintage guitars I'd been playing). I fine-tuned my new Carter, did a preliminary touch of all the pedals and knee levers, and then decided to attempt something slow and easy. I tried "Amazing Grace". I was delighted, not only with being able to use everything but also the sustain and overall sound. Beautiful !!!! I have been very happy with my Carter ever since. Much thanks for the great attention that I received from everyone at Carter Steel Guitars. Phyllis, Ebony and I are really happy at how everything went. Thanks guys and gal. Love that Carter.
