In my opinion, the finest Steel Guitars available anywhere. I could own ANY steel guitar on the market, and I have chosen Carter's twice now because of the unsurpassed quality and service you provide. Thank you! posted on Steel Guitar Forum, April 28, 2000: Carter D-10 #2, 9 Pedals x 7 Knee Levers, TPP pickups, BCT, etc., arrived this morning, and all I can say is "My GOD!!!! What a steel!!!". There is definitely MUCH, MUCH more sustain, a generally crisper tone, and an overall killer guitar. Not that Carter #1 was any slouch, mind you, but if I keep it, I am definitely going to send it in to have the BCT mod done to it. This latest Carter is by far the best steel I have ever owned. And as always, Ann, John, and Bud are the greatest folks in the world to deal with!!!! I couldn't be happier with this instrument! Email May 17, 2000: This BCT Carter sounds really good ... I mean, just killer. The string separation down in the mid-range is outstanding. Waaaaay cool. This guitar has made me a better player already, just because I can HEAR it better. I think that's the way it works on any instrument. As you improve, you hear the thing better. I do not know which comes first: hearing better or playing better. But it surely happens.
