July 11, 2001 Dear Bud, John and Ann, I want you to know how PROUD I am of my Carter S-10 Rosewood mica with Body-Contact™ Technology (BCT). It is such a beautiful and exceptionally fine-crafted, quality instrument. As the previous owner of a name brand pedal steel guitar, I cannot believe the tone and sound that comes from my Carter. The sustain is beyond explanation and there are no dead spots through the entire spectrum of the fret board. The pedal and knee lever action is so smooth and there is no delay in the reaction time. And it is hard to believe how it stays in tune. I find myself at a loss for words in describing this beautiful instrument. I hope Carter Steel Guitars is around for another century! Before deciding on a Carter Steel Guitar, I researched several other brands. Then I called John Fabian to inquire about the various models and specifications, to which he gave me the information that I was looking for. After sleeping on it overnight, I could hardly wait to call and place my order. The service was extremely courteous, and the delivery time was almost too fast to relocate some of the wife's furniture. You folks at World Class Steels, Inc. make me feel right at home. In closing, I just want to let you know that if anyone asks me about a Carter Steel Guitar, I will not have to make any excuses, or tell any lies. It is the FINEST pedal steel on the market.
