March 31, 2002 To everyone at the Carter facility: It is not too often that a product as fine as yours is produced. When any product is manufactured, it not only reflects on the people who manage the company, but on all of its workers, as well. Everyone at Carter Steel Guitars should be very proud of the fine craftsmanship and quality that went into the making of my new Red Birdseye mica Carter S-10 with Body-Contact™ Technology (BCT). I am impressed with the sound and sustain of the Carter, as well as the playability. I started off with a Sho-Bud Maverick that I purchased about 30 years ago. Back then, there was little instructional material available. I put it in its case after 2 weeks of trying to learn how to play it and it sat there for the last 30 years. For whatever reasons, I decided I was going to learn how to play the Pedal Steel Guitar and got the Maverick set up. Afer a month went by, I decided I was going to stick with it, but wanted something better than the Maverick, which was so limited. I decided to go with Carter and have never regretted it. From the time I got in touch with Carter, I knew I had chosen the right company to do business with. Within a week I had the literature and the next day I placed the order. I will always recommend Carter to anyone looking to purchase a Pedal Steel Guitar. The folks at Carter Steel Guitars know how to treat the little guy and that will always be tops in my book.
