July 31, 2003 Hi fellow steelers, My name is John Booth. I have owned virtually every brand of pedal steel known to man up to and including doubleneck Emmons guitars. However, I have never owned or played a finer instrument than this S-10/DB Carter with BCT technology shown in this picture. It has remarkable sustain, rich full tone. It is simply the lowest maintenance pedal steel I have ever had my hands on. I am very pleased with the Carter and I thank everyone at Carter for their support and the remarkable craftsmanship that is obvious from the very first time I lowered the bar onto these strings.
