May 29 2004 Dear Ann, John, and Bud, I am delighted to have received my new Carter with Body-Contact™ Technology (BCT) just as you went off to The British Festival. I placed my order with you in Mesquite by email all the way from here in Scotland and it was built and shipped in record time. It arrived in Scotland and I set it up, plugged it in to an amp, and away we went! Beautiful sound and smooth pedal action and the glossy black mica top with ebony birdseye aprons looks great. This is truly a wonderful instrument and the craftsmanship on the mechanism and finish is peerless. I dabbled many years ago with a lesser instrument (not a Carter) and the difference is huge. The Carter is so smooth and comfortable to use. I see many hours of playing pleasure ahead. Had to wait for some sunshine here in the northeast of Scotland for the enclosed photo. What more can I say? I cannot thank you enough for such a quality instrument. I am delighted with the guitar. It does you great credit that I have no hesitation in highly recommending you to anyone who asks about Carter. I am now looking forward to bringing up my playing to a standard to match the Carter!
