July 30 2005 Dear John, I purchased my Green Birdseye glossy mica S-10/DB Carter (with BCT) in June of 2004. The color is beautiful and it plays like a dream. My whole experience with Carter has been great. The guitar was setup exactly as I asked. I had heard the Carter can be played right out of the box and that was the truth! The tone is truly amazing. It stays in tune like a rock! This is a real quality guitar, and it plays smooth as silk. After playing a Sho-Bud for 20 years, I was hoping for a guitar as good, and I got one FAR better!
