The Carter has the best sound and is the best playing and most easy pedal and knee lever action -- all this makes it a pleasure to play. This is my 22nd pedal steel guitar over a 34-year period and I can assure you, it won't be my last Carter. No gimmicks. No hidden surprises. Service, good prices, good looking guitars that stay in tune and are dependable. Fast delivery on mica guitars, including most any color. By the way, I played the S-12 Univeral in Jackson on Friday night. I did not have to touch it when it was on the tuner. It was the same thing the next day in Magee. No tuning needed.
