July 1, 2005 Dear John, I bought my Turquoise mica S-12 Carter (with BCT) about a year ago. I have been playing pedal steel since 1969 and I think the Carter Steel is the best I have ever played. I thought I needed a new amp, as well as a new guitar, when I purchased the Carter. But, when I plugged in the new Carter, I knew my amp was fine. The Carter Steel Guitar has the clearest sound and has the easiest action of any steel I have tried. I recommend the Carter to everyone I talk to. I tell them, "You will not find any more honest or accessible or friendly or knowledgeable people than John and Ann Fabian, and Bud Carter!!!"
